Twenty one years on, the line up has changed a couple of times.
Bob Hall was replaced by Dick Heckstall-Smith and Mickey Waller
came and went a few times. Seasoned London bluesers Alan Vincent,
Dave Beaumont, and Phil Taylor came on board. Friends such as Otis
Grand, Paul Lamb, and Johnny Mars joined in on sessions, which you'll
hear on the first disc. Five years ago came a big shake up with
the band. I invited harp player Bill Smith, guitarists Daniel Smith
and Dennis McGrath, Scottish singer Russell Baillie and drummer
Reg Patten to join me along with Dick Heckstall-Smith. You'll find
tracks from that line up on the second disc. Little did I know that
when I nervously stepped out on stage with Fleetwood Mac in 1967,
I'd still be doing this thirty five years later. Bob Brunning, London.
