Paul Oscher : Steve Guyger
Living
Legends Deep In The Blues

Living Legends is the result of a longstanding desire to record
a true, 50/50 collaboration between these two blues luminaries;
Paul Oscher & Steve Guyger. Mention Paul Oscher's name and you instinctively
think of Muddy Waters. For five years Paul played with and watched
Waters and Spann like a hawk from his matchless vantage point on
tage. No one on the blues scene today can touch him as a multi-instrumentalist
given his massive harmonica tone, his ability to summon Muddy's
spirit in his slide guitar playing, or his prodigious piano technique.
Steve Guyger has devoted two decades to preserving classic blues
tradition. He worked with Jimmy Rogers from 1980 to 1994. Paul and
Steve are a link to the for fathers of modern blues, bridging the
past and present. They've made their sacrifices and paid their dues
to remain true to this Art Form.

Last
Train To Dover

Rated
by Amazon.Com Best Blues Harmonica Album EVER !!
Steve Guyger first made a name for himself by traveling with legendary
Jimmy Roger’s Chicago Blues Band for almost thirteen years. He also
worked and recorded with the great blues pianist Dave Maxwell and
drummer Willie Big Eyes Smith. He currently leads his own band in
the Philadelphia area. Steve has yet to reach the national acclaim
he deserves, but has been known to blues lovers and harp players
for years. Steve plays the blues like it’s supposed to be played:
lowdown and lonesome. It’s about being true to the spirit of the
blues; that’s what Steve Guyger is about.
”This (Last Train To Dover) is a must-have for the blues collector.
