Stringbean and the Stalkers - Little Monster

Stringbean and the Stalkers are not just a Blues Band, they are an innovative Blues Collective. Ken Sorensen aka Stringbean on vocals, harp and guitar, Jersey Shore legend Sonny Kenn on lead guitar, David Meyers on bass, Vic Bayers on drums and Neil Thomas on accordian, piano and organ are the nucleus of an amazing volatile band.

Their blues is blended with country, jazz, and zydeco. They follow up their critically acclaimed Blues Leaf release "Hey Hey" with this new collection of eleven originals and four covers of Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, and Johnny Winter. "Little Monster" could actually be a MONSTER. AMERICANA at it's best.

Stringbean and the Stalkers - Hey Hey

“Look up “laid back” in Webster’s Colloguial Dictionary and I do believe it says “see Stringbean and The Stalkers.” No showboating here. Led by Ken Sorensen Aka Stringbean, a wiry, sleepy eyed singer, guitarist, and harp player, The Stalkers blend their blues with uberal strains of Jazz, Country, and Zydeco. They put their mark on the music and make it both accessible and compelling. “The improvisational jams and blues virtuosity that have made their gigs so popular with Shore blues Jams are the same things that make this CD such a winner.” - Robert Santelli, author of The Big Book of Blues and The Best of the Blues
